Our team knows that the existing research about preterm birth assessment is very promising, but this alone does not guarantee success. Sabrina, Francisco and Annette are highly committed to develop the commercial version of the device, complete the clinical trial, follow the regulatory roadmap and execute on our business vision to successfully support gynaecologists in improving the preterm birth risk assessment and birth management.
Sabrina Badir
CEO and Founder
Sabrina is a Human Movement Scientists and holds a PhD in Biomechanics. During her PhD, she developed and validated the first prototypes at ETH Zurich and University Hospital Zurich. After graduation, Sabrina has executed on her vision to transfer this novel research into clinical routine where it is needed.
Annette Burggraf
Clinical Operations Manager
Annette has held senior positions in international clinical research management at AstraZeneca, Amgen, Appletree and Novartis. She is very enthusiastic to be part of pregnolia and supports with her clinical experience the company in its mission to finally solve the problem of all these premature babies worldwide.
Francisco Delgado
CTO and Co-Founder
Francisco is a Physics Engineer and holds a Bioengineering PhD from MIT. He has gained extensive expertise in developing novel precision measurement devices for biomedical applications. Francisco has teamed up with Sabrina and Annette to bring to market a new measurement tool that will significantly contributes to reducing spontaneous preterm births.
